What Makes DU-LITE'S Easy Black Plus System Different?

DU-LITE'S SMALL LOT ELECTRICALLY HEATED BLACK OXIDE SYSTEMS COMPLETE WITH EXHAUST HOODS AND BLOWERS. WATER LINES AND DRAINS ARE FACTORY INSTALLED. ELECTRICAL PANEL IS FACTORY WIRED TO HEATERS AND THERMOCOUPLES. YOUR ONLY REQUIREMENT IS TO BRING POWER TO THE CONTROL PANEL. ALL NECESSARY CHEMICALS PROVIDED.

 
12" BLOWER SYSTEM
SIX COMPARTMENT TANK SYSTEM:


Constructed of 304 stainless steel, 12 gauge.
All electrically heated compartments are insulated with 1" fiberglass board and covered with (304)16 gauge stainless steel outer covering.

Each compartment in this processing system measures approximately 16" X 16" X 16" deep. Complete unit measures approximately 22" X 88" X 60" tall. Complete System with drip tray and chemicals.

 LARGE 16" BLOWER SYSTEM
SIX COMPARTMENT TANK SYSTEM:


Constructed of 304 stainless steel, 12 gauge.
All electrically heated compartments are insulated with 1" fiberglass board and covered with (304)16 gauge stainless steel outer covering.

Our larger unit, one blower system measures approximately 16" X 38" X 16" to process rifle barrels and longer items. Complete unit measures approximately 52" X 120" X 82" tall.  Equipment can also be built to your specifications and chemical processes. Complete System with drip tray and chemicals.

Electrical Control Panel which is use to maintain the proper operating temperature of each electrically or gas heated processing compartments. Unit has red flashing alarm  light set to activate 2 degrees above set operating temperature. Additional safety features include automatic shut-down of electric heaters in the overheating processing station if operating temperature exceeds 3 degrees above set operating temperature.  

 

 

 

  

Large inline exhaust blower to remove water vapor and steam  from heated processing compartments. Exhaust pipe at top of blower must be run to outside of building. Smaller Easy Black system with tanks 16"x16"x16" using a 12" dia. pipe, larger Easy Black system with 16"x38"x16" processing compartments requires a 16" dia. exhaust pipe.

 

 LARGE 16" BLOWER SYSTEM

Du-Lite's newest addition to the Easy Black Plus System is now available in LP or natural gas heating systems. This system comes complete with electrical gas solenoid valves, Baso gas safety valve, and all the additional safety systems available on the electrically heated systems.

 

 

 

 This picture shows the underneath gas burner system with electric gas solenoid valve, Baso gas pilot safety unit. The upper left corner of photo shows the exhaust flue and next to it is the automatic water solenoid valve system to replenish water that has left the black oxide tank as steam. This will ensure that no red work will be produced while using   Du-Lite's Easy Black Plus System.

 

  

Photo of two Water Solenoid Valves which automatically replenishes water that has left the processing tank as steam. This is very important because the water that is lost as steam from the processing tank is not replenished immediately the black oxide tank will over heat and produce red work which is unacceptable. These valves are electrically controlled by the temperature indicating controller located in the main control panel.

All stainless steel construction inside and out. Steel rinse tanks are prone to rusting, forming rust particles which can be deposited on your finished work.

• System can be adapted to run other in-house processes, i.e. stainless steel passivating,
parts cleaning, aluminum chromating, zinc, iron, manganese phosphating, acid bright
dipping or rust removal and oiling processes.

Manual or automatic waste treatment system available for pH adjustment of rinse water.

Factory laboratory and technical assistance available.

SIX COMPARTMENT PROCESS

1. Du-Lite's #45™ hot alkaline soak cleaner - electrically heated to 150° F.
2. Water rinse.
3. Du-Lite's Steelkote™ hot black oxide process - electrically heated to 285° F.
4. Du-Lite's Steelkote™ hot black oxide process - electrically heated to 301° F.
5. Water Rinse.
6. Du-Lite's RG-55™ rust preventative oil.
